Anyone got this for PS2? Was just checking out Gamerankings and noticed this has been given amazing reviews, incluing a 9.7/10 by IGN.

Not out until the 30th March I think. It'll be a must buy if it's anything like the original, which was bloody brilliant. You can pick that up on Ebay pretty cheap, and it'll keep u entertained up until the 30th!

lol. Cheers. Saving my pennies for GTA IV, Forza II and eventually a PS3 and of course Pro Evo 7. But I do like a little game or two to tide me over... God of War II certainly looks good.

I played the original but found it very tedious to be honest. Not a great fan of button mashing combos, which was all it seemed to be to me.

Not bought this yet but I did order God of War last week to play on my PS3. It arrived yesterday but I've not played it. The reviews for it were excellent too.

I got this and it's very good. Only thing i would say is that it's lost some of the 'wow' factor if you have played the original as it's more of the same (not a bad thing) with some new features thrown in, it's the last game i'll buy for my PS2. I could not get it to work on my PS3 though.

Well I aint played the original, so I may still be hit with the wow factor!

However, I guess the PS2 has hit its limit now?

Not sure why not, according to the compatibility list for PS3 it plays with "no known issues"

I bought Gran Turismo 4 last week to play and despite it being listed as having 1 square (noticably issues) it plays very nicely indeed.

Be interested to hear what issues you've had, as I was looking at buying that myself.
