Can of worms as all down to personal preference Richard. Plenty of different opinions.
My suggestions would be Cup shocks or if you want to pay the extra then Konis as you say. Presume your Eibachs are Sportlines which are ideal, Whiteline ARB if you feel the need to. Ferodo DS2500 pads and Brembo HC discs. Fred@BTM will sort you out for anything you need and does his own exhausts. Anything else just ask mate.

G172 is a trader on here for the pads.
ARB is about £170 but varies from place to place, can be had for about £150 sometimes.

Adam is on right lines mate.

Only thing I'd add is flushing the brake fluid through with something decent if it hasn't been done for a while.

If you become a member (only £12 a year) you will be able to see all the Trader sections and also the market place. You'll be able to get everything you need from on here one way or another. You'll save the membership fee in no time!

The whiteline rarb are circa £160 new. They come on here second hand but get snapped up pretty quickly

Cup 172 shocks will fit a ph1 yes, as will the later cup/182 arms with increased caster, another good upgrade.
