Good free Antivirus and Firewall

Links please as i've seached and peope just say the name then i can never find em.

Currently have ZoneAlarm suite Version 7. But can't update to 8 as i have to buy it again.

ZoneAlarm is still a good bet.

However for the past 3/4 years I have used BitDefender Total Security and it is very good! I haven't had a wiff of a virus for ages! The firewall looks after itself and it isn't RAM hungry either.

I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

I've just looked and it's still free, Registration is done via email, maybe you're on some dodgy site that charges you for what you could do yourself free.
