I think thats a fair offer, what ya all think?

Never accept the first offer though. Haggle for a bit more.

Sounds pretty much spot on to me, maybe even a little generous.

Theres no point haggling if you cant prove that the car is worth more than they are offering. If you can find the same or similar car for sale for more then send them the details and try and get a higher figure.

I wrote off my Mk1 172 last July.

Y reg (french import) on 30k miles. Took their first offer at £9k if I remember correctly. (oh it also developed the 4k rattle the week I crashed, maybe I got extra for that?!?)

I would personally try for a bit more.

I agree that is a generous amount!

For god sake dont haggle as if they look at it closer the may round the figure down! Just take the money and run!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liked the Audi S3 the best.
