its not been washed in about 2-3 years

whats the paint like on them, is it hard or soft ?

Get some step ladders mate you will need them!

Not done one since having a PC so cant comment on paint hardness.

i used to help wash a disco at my last job, we used to wash it all down first with a steam washer, you wouldnt believe the differecne it makes and it helps to soften before you begin washing

The paints meant to be paper thin on them apparantly so my uncle said who used to have one.
