Hankook tyres... Any good?

  Breaking A 172 Replica
They are awful.

No grip in the dry or wet.

Avoid unless you don't really take corners/mind about getting good starts/care about stopping.

  Chocolate Bar™
not a bad tyre unless you like giving it some beans, in which case i'd avoid them.

In the 2yrs since this thread the tyres have moved on:D

Listen to the 'cs sheep' as usual just cause it's not Pe2 must be crap.

I've got Rs2 on my Cup & binned the conti 3's at just over a 1000 miles, now on 4k & 3 trackdays later & going strong.

70-80% Wet grip of the conti 3's, in the dry only r888's are better, they piss all over parads, contis, dunlops & goodyrs:D

So depends on what series you have?

There is a reason Rs2's are out of stock in the Uk, they are cheap & awesome:D

I'm thinking of getting some of these next time I need tyres. I can get PE2's fitted for £230 from Costco.

V12 Evo's are 130 delivered. Can probably get all 4 fitted for £20 as my Grandad knows a tyre fitter.

So for the £80 difference which would you recommend.
