try the manufacturers website, if you're in warranty that might even send it to you for free

post the make and model of your laptop might help

Get an external hard drive and copy all the stuff you want to keep. Then format and re-install windows again, will be like brand new mate.

Does it have a recovery partition?

If not i think there might be an option to burn a recovery disk in which possibly after you've burnt the disk it can re install a fresh version of the operating system.

if you do this you will have to reinstall all of your programs again which can be a pain, just to warn you

slightly complicated but what would be best is for you to restore your laptop, install your programs, then clone the hard drive then everytime it goes slow you can restore the image(clone) and hey presto back as new without having to reinstall all of your programs, bit of a faff but can be useful if you know what you are doing
