Hazard lights flashing randomly

Hi, I was driving my Cup 172 this morning, when my hazard lights started flashing . I removed the button, however it still carried on. When I turn the headlights on, they then stop for a while and start again.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced any similar faults.

Ive also had this problem a few times before, when i first get in the car and start the engine the hazards will randomly come on. I normally have to turn the hazard swith on then off to cancel it???

yeah tried that, does'nt work for me

Took the fuse out for now, quite a laugh hanging out the window doing it the old fasioned way. lol
