Hazards not flashing when car is locked

  Renault Clio MK2 1.2
I've replaced both headlights today and just gone outside to see it in the dark, however weirdly when I unlock the car the hazards will flash once but when I lock it the hazards don't come on at all.

Anyone know where I've buggered up?
