Head unit re-location.....help

Does any one know or has had done a relocation of a stereo unit in a mark one clio?want to fit a screen unit but not enough room in the mark one for it to pop up where it currently is?if any one got any relavent info please email me.......i need help!

You mean because of the angle?

Does your RT have the dash top that goes across the top of the air vents or does it only cover the instrument clocks?

YEAH BECAUSE OF THE ANGLE ITS TO MUCH STEREO WUD HAVE TO SIT 5-6 INCHES OUT OF THE HOUSING.I HAVE THE DASH THAT COMES RITE ACCROSS.LIKE THE 16V ONE....GOES OVER THE VENT TO.......ANY HELP?

Yeah mate, the only other place that it can be placed, and i know someone thats does this, is you take out the vents above the original place & put it in there!! You can either put a motorised screen head unit in there, or you can stick a normal HU in the original place & just put a tft screen where the vents are!
