head unit

the radio stations on my sony head unit keep resetting and the cd changer resets back to cd1 song 1 whenever i turn the car off.

I was fiddling with it the other day what have i done?

is the iso connector pugged straight into the back of the head unit? sounds like a remote live (ignition) may be switched with the permanent live.
