Heat Shield

Last few days there has been a loud tapping noise coming from my exhaust. Checked underneath and one of the bolts/nuts that holds the heat shield on has come off, so the heat shield is tapping against the exhaust.

Is this something I can get from parts at Renault?? The bolt is still in place, just need the washer and nut..
Anyone else had this???

Renault will probably rip you off. A standard washer and nut of similar size will do the job.

Lol... just been to Renault. The parts guy told me they are held on with clips... errrm no its not, its a bolt, washer and nut. He then said I would prob need a new heat shield, its not the actual heat shield thats broken!!!!! ..Turned out he was looking at the wrong model on the computer!

One helpful Renault technician came out and had a look under the car, the bolt is still there, just the main washer is missing.. Told me what size to get and said I would be better getting it from a hardware shop..
