heating knobs and clock display..

i know that the clock display is supposed to dim slightly when you turn your headlights on, but mine pretty much turn off and the heating knobs dont light up either...
and ideas why?

Bulbs could be out in behind the panels mate

the clock display works fine when i dont have my lights on and practically disappears when i turn them on.
the lights behind the heating knobs dont work at all.
does anyone know what bulbs i need? and how easy they are to change?

1 of mines the same mate, the one for weather you want hot or cold air, bulb went, i went to renault asked if it could be changed and got "bulbs dont come under warrenty" i replyed "0but its behind the das" (interupted) "bulbs dont come under warrenty" so i promptly walk out

The clock dims to stop it dazzling you at night. It will appear very dark during the day.

yeah i know that, but mine goes so dim that you can't see it at all without getting a major squint on about an inch away from the display!

Has the dial down by the headlight adjuster been turned right down? (if its fitted) Otherwise the cable might have come out the link thats fitted when the dial isn't.

nah i dont have that dial mate,
how easy is it co get behind the dials/clock display?

Just put your hand behind the dash and push it out, otherwise its prises out easy peasy too.
