Hi Folks!

Where to start?.... Well Im looking at getting a 172 or 182 in the next few weeks and I am hoping to get some good advice before taking the plunge!

I currently drive a 2004 Subaru WRX that has been tweaked here and there, but had two recent SERIOUS repairs and slowly falling out of love with it!

I had a Megane Coupe 2ltr 16v about 10 years ago and loved it.

I know that usually the best examples come from real enthusiasts, so if anyone knows any good ones up for sale around £4-5K (or cheaper as I'm supposed to be saving for my wedding!!) point me in the right direction.

Im off to look at a couple today, just to get a gauge of what they are all about.

Well went to a couple of garages today to to have a nose around, not the best examples by far! The first one was marked up "car of the week" it hadnt been washed, there were parking stickers in the windscreen and fag packets in the doorcards and over the back seat! The other was about £2k over priced!

However I have just been looking at the sales section and was very impressed. I can see there are some great cars on here, owned by the right sort of folk. My impreza is probably going up for sale in about 6 weeks time, so should hopefully be able to spend sometime on the site and get up to speed a little. I'll have to sort out my subs to....
