Hello + Help finding a car

Hello everyone i am from the reuplic of Ireland . Have been looking round the site , some really nice cars on here I am looking for a standard phase 2 clio 172 2001/2002 and i need to buy this week as i have sold my old car , if anyone can point me in the direction of a good one i would really appreciate it. Found nothing in the for sale section have a few lined up on autotrader/pistonheads .

Hello and welcome to CS, try looking in the cars for sale section on here otherwise pistonheads/autotrader.

Make sure the belts have been done as it can be an expensive job!

thanks chaps , got one this morning phase 2 in silver with 60 miles , now just have to fork out €800 to get it onto Irish plates !!!! what a rip off

i'm actually moving to Southampton in september to study so i might tag along to a few events / track days

if your moving to southampton in september why did you fork out for Irish Reg's? Couldnt you have left it on English Reg's and brought it here with you? If you stay in the country long enough dont you get to then take it back with you VRT free?

Oh dont worry i'd already thought that through , had my insurance paid for the year already €1,000 , it actually costs more to insure a car in england for me asa student than to pay the VRT in Ireland !!! So its actually the cheaper option believe it or not !!
