Hello all, been looking at the club forum for a while, never posted before, but finally decided to, i'm looking to buy a clio in about 2 months, i idearly want a clio 182 cup in artic blue, could anyone tell me whats the difference between cups etc and if the 182 is really worth the money over a 172?

lol fair do's ok which one is best, i'm getting the impression i need the 182 cup in artic colour, i think it looks the sexiest.

you don't want a 182 cup, they're crap. You want a standard 182 with cup suspension and cup spoilers, they were both options from the factory, that way you keep leather, climate control, rear headrests xenons etc and theres f**k all difference between the performance anyway.

99% of them have them already, if its got dark grey wheels, its got cup suspension, if its got a slightly larger rear spoiler and a black plastic lip on the bottom of the front bumper, its got cup spoilers...

You want a 172 cup mate.
I think most of the suspension tweeks on the cup became std on all 182s wider track incraesed castor angle on the fnt struts slightly lower. plus there's no aircon pumps to waste power driving it.
I like hot hatches cause of what they are light nippy little cars. If ya want toys go for a coupe or somthing else.
Been driving this cup now for four months after 10 years in 7 different 19 205 gtis. Never fancied owt else (hatchback wise) till i drove the cup.
For a naughtys car its more eightys stylie than anything else i drove.

Do like those twin exhausts though ( and the extra bhp).
Shame the later car wasnt a focused as the 172 cup.
