Help - 2nd lamda sensor

I have remove cat few months ago (decat), and control lamp in dash bord went on. Today i disconnected 2nd lamda sensor (as some of you did) and control lamp is still on.

I just disconnected the sensor under the car(and i didnt remove sensor), i started the car, and the control lamp is still there! What am i doing wrong?

Car is Clio 1.4 16v (2002).

Try disconnecting the battery for 15 mins.

Maybe clearing the DTCs would help.

I did disconnected battery but only for few mins. I will try to disconnect it for 15 mins and see if that helps.

What is DTC? I am from Croatia

I disconnected the battery for 40 mins and nothing. Light is still there. I left lamda sensor unpluged for now. What else could i do?

take the bulb out!!

the obd memory has logged an emission fault now and will store it until it is erased or the fault goes but it wont as there is no cat anymore. you need to get the fault erased by a renault dealer and then leave the second sensor disconnected.
