HELP Acceleration slow only in 2nd gear?

Need some help. I got a 182. When I try to accelerate in 2nd gear, the car doesn't put out any power. If I take my foot off a few times it will go like normal. It only does it in 2nd. Its really strange.

Ideas anyone.

am having a similar issue in 4th gear at low revs (around 2k). feels like fuel filter might be blocked or plugs getting a bit dirty. will have to see what happens at its service...!

But on a more serious note it sounds like the clutch is fecked on both of yours.

it wont be the clutch cuz is would be happening in every gear not just a select one and you'd definately notice it when pullng off in first,

i would agree with jooliona above fuel filter or plugs but i would think you'd notice hesistation in all gears again.

yeah engine management light is on, but thats because i have a decat. Had the aa out today and he plugged hes magical computer in and it only reported the cat sensor.

Thinking it may have something to do with the remap ??????????????????

Yea i thought that mate we will see what it says on clip when you bring it in.

really hope its not the clutch, it doesn't happen all the time but when it does i've not really noticed the revs going crazy? surely if the clutch is slipping the revs shoot up?

it really just feels like the car is choking a bit. maybe its a sticky valve. going to put some redex in and see if that helps! altho i've read some scare stories on here about redex gone wrong

Went to ktec yesterday and they think it is the throttle butterfly sticking. I got it booked in with Renault on tuesday, hope they can sort it.
