Help - Blackberry Crap

Alright chaps, i need some help.

My Mrs has a Blackberry Curve 8520, and recently installed a new app. The phone asked her to reboot it.. So she did.

The problem is now, when it's turned back on, the screen and the keys all light up, there's the icons and what not all where they're supposed to be, but nothings working. The trackpad doesn't work, neither do any of the keys..


Anyone have any idea's?

Yeah. It just goes back to the same screen when it's switched back on.


Ak, I know this.. She's a woman tho and doesn't listen to me haha. At least I got away with a few extra games on FIFA last night lol.

Maybe try connecting it to the pc and see if you can do a software update or something?

Yeah, that extra time lasted AGES!

Boot it into safemode and remove the offending app.

Wouldn't class that as a resolution.

It says something about not having the right software. So there's no list of th apps that are installed.

Download the latest firmware for the phone and overwrite.

Tried all of that and it didn't work. It's okay.. Got a new one now. Took it back to the shop and they replaced it.
