Help!!! Just Cracked My SUMP!!

Just hit a large brick n the road and now have a large crack in it! Anyone have a spare or know where I can get 1?

erm, good question, by the time we take one off an engine, box it up and send it out its not goign to be that cheap

yeah, but labour to remove it off an engine and then posted plus theoretically rendering an engine useless i'll have to speak to andrew, we may not break an engine at all

you not got a fabricator over there that can weld it back up?

Yea, but my mate had hs done a while back and it's still leakin a bit of oil. Wud rather fix it properly than do a haf job!

true, i guess irish welding is a bit like irish screwdrivers (i'm half irish, and Andrew is fully irish, so don't take offense! LOL)

Lol! Is it easy enough to remove the sump with the engine in? I'm guessing I'll have to loosen the mounting bolts and lift the engine slighty?
