Help Needed Urgent!!!

Right, where to start, i bought the adapters i need so i can use the steering control through my alpine headunit, i have a 1999 Mk2 Ph1 Clio with a display in the centre console which shows the time etc... i received all the kit today but for love nor money can the adapter i bought fit anywhere...

This is the adapter i got...

i thought this was the correct one as it say's 'Renault Clio 3 (with dash display) 1998(S) to 2004' which i beleived mine fell under this catagory.

Please can someone help me, if im either being stoopid or i just got the wrong adapter.

That bit wires into the loom and the plugs at the back of the HU the little black box needs the other bit you should have ordered put in and connected to the back

The loom wires fit in fine because that is just universal, it's the connector from the small black box to the renault steering control connecter that doesn't fit...

this is a picture of the renault steering control connector...

this is a picture on the connector coming off the little black box

and this is them together, they dont fit.

Ive already got the part for the headunit, i know thats right, its just throwing me that my car falls under the exact description yet the connecters dont fit

You sure it's not the small yellow connector, instead of the black one in your pic? Looks like that might fit.

InCarTech's .pdf compatibility list (click technical specification on your CAD link) states the connector for the ICT-28652 is 'yellow mini ISO'.

The yellow one is the one that comes with the InCarTech adapter for the renault, the black one is coming out of the chunky bit of cable that runs across the top of the dash, ive tried everything, the only thing i can think is that i need this adapter...

Oh sorry thought you meant the original HU connectors, not the one behind the dash display.
