Can anyone help with the following?
I basically want to sell my Private Plate and purchase another one. But what is the best way of doing this? As I understand there is an £80 transfer fee? Do I sell my current plate and then pay £80 to have the new plate (when purchased) on to the car? or is there more to it than that? i.e, do I have to pay £80 to get the old plate off the car and the original one on it? therefore I am better off going straight from old to new (bypassing the original)?
