Help!!

Jus re-wired my sub and amp because the amp kept goin on and off..but its still doing it!! any ideas? everythin is wired properly! Amp just goes on...off...on...off...etc

I'd say it was the remote lead at fault.

I'd just put in a new one. It doesn't have to be thick.

You could just try it using an old bit of electrical wire just to see if it cures it, if it does, buy a new remote lead. If it doesn't cure it, you've saved some dough!

did you try your earth is it to somewhere good with a good contact to the bodywork ie no paint in the way

aye! its on the rear light! (sounds bad but it aint! )

Try it on taht isofix bar or teh bolts that hold down teh seatbelt buckles

make a new earth somewhere. mine use to do this.

mine did this, ran the earth back to the -ve on the battery and it worked a treat.

couldnt find anywhere that would give a decent earth.

I'd say it's a bad earth - did that with my old amp

Have you tried a different amp in there to see if its the amp?
