OK I WAS JUST REMOVING MY ACUSTIC VALVE THEN WHEN PUTTING THE AIR BOX BACK IN SOMTHING FELL OUT THE BOTTOM AND I DONT HAVE A CLUE WHAT IT IS OR WHERE IT CAME FROM

What is the advantage of removing the acoustic valve?

^^^ truthlly mate its ment get better airflow, i jus finished my set up with standard air box, extra CAF and removed the silly valve thing, but im about go test it now and will post results on here in 10 min

ok people heres the news, it was better... however, i was running a open air K&N 57i kit before which was most probobly loosing me power. however it jus seem a tiny bit more beefy low end. and i did upgrade the CAF where the valve was. i would recommed this if you have a hour or two on your hands as it will help a little, espec with uprgraded CAF's and a pannel filter from ktec or ITG etc. dont expect much though. but its a start.
