I'm not entirely sure atm, going to see how much money i can get together. I actually passed my test in a clio, i think id like something faster than a 1.2 though! I know i want a silver or black clio definatley!! :rasp:

Good stuff. Just don't get a diseasel!!! 1.4s are nippy, 1.6s are good punch for the motorway but I doubt you'll get insured on the 1.6 let alone 2.0 RS models

Arw everyone is so nice on here, Yeah i probs wont get insured on a 1.6 so i think i may go for a 1.4. Been driving a year now though, got a micra atm, how embaressing haha! x

Haha well i admit it wouldnt have been my choice, i got surprised with it when it was my 18th, i hate it, no power steering is terrible. PLease dont arrest me...:dapprove:

Dont get a 1.2, mine was OK while I was a boy. Cheap (£1200ha!) insurance fairly good MPG but tbh its wearing a bit thin now. at 21 now i can get decent quotes on 182's cups etc. see what insurance is going to cost you first.

Erm, id say the opposite. Get a 1.2! Ace cars if you cant afford to run/ insure a sport.

Yeah it is a good car, i know ive got 94k trouble free out of it. but maybe if i'd have bought a 1.4 16v instead I wouldnt be wanting rid of it now if you see what I mean

The 1.4 is no faster at all mate. I had a 1.2, me mate had the 1.4, identical up to motorway speeds.
