I'm new here.

Getting a 1.2 Billabong '53 on Wednesday, looking forward to it. Unfortunately I couldn't go for anything more than a 1.2 because of my insurance (6pts, 20 years old).

I think a few of you might know Anni182. Known her for years and only found out that she was a member here after I'd registered! :approve:

Anyway, here's the motor...




What do you reckon? 36k on the clock, good condition and only £3,400. Bit of a bargain I think.

I intend to get some better alloys, probably 16" or 17", upgrade the CD player and speakers, maybe some LED style rear lights (although I've been told that you lot aren't keen :rasp, some silvervision bulbs and MIGHT spray the calipers (not sure what colour).

Any suggestions appreciated.

Get 18s and then spray the calipers yellow.

how did you get your 6 pts if you don't mind me asking?

3 points for speeding (50 in a 30 zone, although it was 12.15am) when I was 17.
3 points for going through a red light (had only just changed, there was nobody else at the crossroads - except the police lurking behind some bushes) when I was 18.

I learnt my lesson the hard way when I was young.
Had my licence revoked (no ban period though) and had to take both practical and theory test again.
