  BMW e46 320 Ci Sport
Any ideas? i'm having sucha nightmare finding some, i've come across two sets which seem to do the job but it's a mine field and they're all very old...like nothing new has been released in years, anyone on here in the know? the ones i've found are

Pioneer SE-DIR800C

Sony MDS-SD6000

Turtlebeach Ear Force X4s - the problem with these are they aren't rechargable and apparently, not as good as either of the aboves.

i'm getting a set of the Digital noise cancelation Sony ones for Christmas, £200, not sure if thats classed as high end or not but the noise cancelling is amazing, better than the bose quietcomfort even.

they look awesome. i've actually used a similar set using simiolar technology, works very well. They even make them now with noise cancelling technology aswell as noise isolating earpieces... unfrotunately though thats not what i'm after, i want to hear cod4 assasins coming up behind me! so 5.1 is what i need.

are they good for movies too? and how is the comfort level? do you get nasty hissing from the IR? this was an issue i've read about.

looked at them a fair bit too mate, only issue there was it cause massive issues with wireless internet broadcasting...so will disrupt other users using wirless in your place. The other issue is static when you have audio silence.

Plus the only ones i've found which are true 5.1s are my last post. All the others are virtual 5.1s...

Thoughts?

some reviews here http://www.limexb360.co.uk/article/show/21 everyone seems happy with them, i have noticed that there is a slight hiss when everything is dead silent i guess thats the wireless for ya. Very comfortable to wear sometimes forget they are on and feels just like a normal surround sound setup, only use them for gaming never tried them to watch a film sorry.

Just recieved my trittons via the post. They're s**t. Awful tinny sound in movies...especially noticeable when people are talking (seriously!). Worked in games pretty well, 5.1 was quite noticeable in left 4 dead etc - until i moved it from my pc over to the ps3 and tried a few games....most worked...resistance 2...simply didn't...no particular reason why..worked with my regular 5.1 setup, just nothing coming out the cans in game. Dogshit. On they're way back tomorrow!

So back to researching something thats right for me! baaah.

Whats your budget?

and don't buy wireless headphones mate.

I've probably spent around £2-3k on headphones in the last 6 years.

Was bitterly dissapointed with the high end wireless headphones I tried.

doesn't really have to be wireless the tritton ones i bought weren't, i'm looking at between £100-£250.

trouble there is they're more designed for stero input rather than 5.1...i'm buygint them mostly for movie and gaming... hence looking at megalons etc.
