Shot a macaron full of cocoa powder...


Need to tweak the macaron so my bb gun can actually get through it and move it away from the background to stop the shadows.

I think thats the usual technique, a flash is used in a darkened room to freeze the action. Would love to give it a go, but haven't got a way to time/trigger it.

Exposure doesnt matter, shoot it in a dark room and use a flash to freeze the action.

Excellent shot, perfect timing.

How are you timing your flash, out of interest? Trial and error?

I triggered it using a cd case with a switch from maplins in it. So when the object hits the case it fires the flash.

I bought a cheap sound trigger off ebay so when that comes i will try some more stuff.
