Got a prob with my 172, and hope someone can help.
The prob is a flatspot which occurs ocassionally at about 4100rpm. It runs ok otherwise and doesn't smoke at all. It isn't using lots of fuel, oil, water etc or overheating. I was told that flatspots are a sign that the MAF sensor knackered. The car is standard except a K-tec cat-back exhaust and is on about 122k miles now. It also mis-fires very ocassionally at low revs (1500-2000ish) when i floor it. It runs on V-power and BP ultimate mostly is still doing about 37mpg.
If anyone has any ideas I would be v grateful.
