I'm after a home cinema system, MUST have wireless rear speakers. Not fussed over makes...But not lookin to spend BOSE money! Keep it Below 1k.

No optical input would put me off but you might not be so bothered.

Got a Wii, 360, and Sky HD running through it...never ever have the volume up on the LCD now.

So many connection options...you'll not get bored, and you've have enough change to get a nice sweaty topless builder to install it for you too.

Worth bearing in mind Ali that things like wireless video senders and wireless routers sometimes interfere with the wireless speakers. This is what made me switch to a hard-wired system. Put your router in another room and you will be fine.

I got Sony DAV-DZ830W. Infra-red wireless rear speakers FTW. No interference with wireless network or wireless anything else.

What signal are you feeding into it though?

By that I mean are you watching a stereo broadcast converted into Pro Logic or are you watching a native Dolby Digital 5.1 broadcast?

As an example get Gladiator on DVD and watch the scene at the start where they have the massive fisticuffs in the woods at the start. When the arrows etc start flying through the air then the rears really come into play.

Dolby 6.1...Anything other than that doesn't include the rear speakers?! :S I had Savin private ryan on for tests sake. Sub is on Min and it's Still boomy!!! Asbo coming soon!

yes stereo could possibly do that alot of teh time though it just sends teh same signal to the rear speakers too
