hotmail probs - trash can won't clear

I can't get it to remove all of the items in it (there are about 20) it says that there is a problem & to click where it says it (click here) to remove the junk.
But it don't work. I know its supposed to clear every day but I still have stuff in from last week !

Any ideas ?

I'm using Windows Live Mail Beta and it works fine on that.
