replace the twitters in the dash?

i have a 2003 billabong mk2 phase 2...

wanted to replace them but how do i get the speaker cage off?

I think the cover pops off then you can get to em!

To change the tweeters you have to take the dash off.

Pop off the little silver (unless its blue on the billabong) strips on the dash and undo all the bolts. Un-screw the 3 bolts at the back of the dash and the two at the side.... lift the dash out.
Unclip the tweeter and simply replace with the new tweeter. You may need to cut the connector off and replace with some bullet connectors..

just spin them and the grill will come off
but the actual speaker is mounted to the right of the hole, so its a dash removal jobby

yup thats exactly it, just had a look and i can twist them off to have a look but cant actually get get them out

yeah just twist them off ( i found out the hard way trying to get a FlatHead screwdriver under it and poping it off and one of the teeth snapped )

its on though there are 3 of them! Also i had t chop and solder my new tweeters on, they didnt just plug in.
