Sunflower yellow was only the mk1 172.
I think mk1 172's came in Mars red ?
Flame red was the mk2 172.

Scarab green (the 172 exclusive colour) is pretty rare too as there was only 172 of them.

i've seen quite a few exclusives and sunflower yellow, liquid yellow i've only seen a few and cant say i've seen a red 172. only ever seen 1 petrol blue too

I've had my flame red ph 2 172 for about 20 months. in that time I've only seen about 4 other red ph 2's and another 2 or 3 ph 1's. This weekend was the first time I've ever been in the same car park as another red ph2. It was such a rare occasion that I thought a mate had taken my keys and moved my car!

When I bought my car I paid extra so I could have a red one. They seem to be the same price now though.

i have only ever seen 3 172's nr me blue,silver and black
i have never seen the red one in person,
i have seen one very nice yellow in blackpool, not sure what reg but it was a mk2. -that was a very nice colour especially with the sun beaming down on it

That liquid gold or yellow one is absolutely AWSOME. I went to the renault test driving day last summer and they had a V6 in that yellow colour and it was jaw-dropping. Such a nice colour.
