How to change standard aerial

Hi Guys,

I recently got a 172, and i wanna change my aerial but seems like it wont come off. Anyone know to get this off????:S

Twists off the base my friend, is rather easy

I had the same problem with mine. Wont come off ever tried turning it with some plyers but its stuck fast

Tried to use a set of liars, and doesn’t come off, just left marks on it, spoke to a mate whos a renualt mechanic, apparently some do have this problem, they sieze up, only way around this it get new base!:rasp: =

Some people superglue them in to stop thieves.
