How to get rear drum smooth!

alright, my rear drums are all rough and rusty and i was wondering how i would go about getting them nice and smooth again so i could paint them black

cheers

also does it cost much for new drums if thats less hastle?

when i did mine i just used a wire brush then some sanding paper then a piss can of matt black. if you want a proper job then use a linisher or a grinder to get rid of all the sh*t then paint it with hammerite or somethin.

I used a wire brush set like these from screwfix , you can get em from some pound shops also . Cleaned up my back and front calipers a piece of p*ss . Then as above , hammerite smooth . Check out ebay as you can sometimes get it cheaper on there . I got 3 cans delivered for the price of 2 in the shops .
