basically drilled a hole through the boot floor and through the carpet, drilled hole through bottom of sub box, used a big huge bolt and a wide washer, and bolt it down securely. thieves wont move it either. as for the amp i used 4 self tapper screws and went straight into the backseat with material washers in between to stop metal on metal and any vibrations

You can also cut out an MDF 'floor' using the carpet as a template, then screw the box to the floor securely and drop the whole lot in.

Be aware that if you crash the box will weigh a LOT as it tries to carry on at the speed you were doing before you hit something, so you need it to be secured for your own safety! I'd also recommend leaving your rear seatbelts done up for extra support :)

where did u run the cables between the amp and sub mate?

'cos, when you crash, the box will want to carry on moving forward! (in the same way you feel yourself leaning on the seatbelt under heavy breaking.)

The seat's are only held in place by like 2 bits of plastic so a heavy box hitting the back of the seat would be enough to break them, leaving the box moving forwards towards your head... :S

  Looking for a Mk1 Clio?
FM like i said before.. that looks well smart bro..i like it..

anyway, mine needs securing too.. where did you get that strut brace from FM? looks quite nice too..

Im going to recarpet the who inside of my boot and fassen my load down because it slides round like a mofo at the moment lol.
