HYDROLIC TAPPETS

Hi all i have a cup 172 03 with 36k on the clock after going for a drive in it i noticed a nosey tappet but this would go away and then come back are they hydrolic and is this normal thanks.

They are hydrolic yes, mine is particularly tappy(1.6 16v) which could mean it needs a new set but i cba to pay the bill.
