I badly need help!!!

My car keeps going funny, it sometimes wont let me start it when i lock it it beeps 3 times. What could it be????

Its was made in 2002, its a privilege and no after market alarms just manufacture one

privilege had same type of alarm as sports i think ( light by the gear knob) dont know about the beeping does the imob light go out.

Ye it is by gear stick and yes the immobilizer light does go out

The beeps indicate the fault.

All Clios use the Cobra alarm setup it just depends why fits them dealers or the factory.

Another common problem is when you lock the car the alarm beeps 2 or 3 times.
Reason: The alarm system has received a signal from the vehicle ECU that the ignition is 'on' causing the alarm to beep. This signal is only received by the alarm for 3 to 4 seconds, after this time has elapsed the alarm stops beeping.

Solution: It can only be resolved at a Renault dealer. Ask the dealer to contact the 'Renault alarm help line' and quote reference
'RS+15'.
