Yep, it still turns on even when the lights are on . It does work but its not the way to do it. Mine is 1000 lumens on economy mode I think and although it works you don’t want to with the lights on really. You don’t see as much detail which when your playing COD4 and the like you need. Lucky for me its in a room with just a small skylight window and a blind on it:approve:

Got mine off my brother when he upgraded to a full 1080 widescreen one. Can find out if you like? Have mine running with a VGA 360 cable to a long normal VGA one to the projector with an adaptor to plug the 2 together

Yep, silly me, I have a TV that doesnt look too big for the room it is in, great clarity on the ps3, and i can spend the cash I saved on hookers so no need to w&nk over the tv :rasp:

The screen folds up into the ceiling and the projector itself is a fairly small bit of kit. Only need it out when you want to use it does not have to be there all the time thus fits the room nicely and whats more you dont need a bloody big unit to have your TV sat on taking up room.

The price...for a fairly decent HD projector it is about the same price if not cheaper than your average 32" HDTV.

LOL, as it happens I live in a converted church:rasp: . But as said the screen rolls up into the ceiling and is hardly visible. I can see why some might not like the size but I love it. It really draws you into the action be it DVD or 360 especially when you crank the dolby digital up. Its better than the cinema imo. The sound is setup better and you can have a beer etc whilst watching Oh and one last thing it only cost me £400 off my brother and that was 2 years ago!
