i need a new printer

I bought an Epson Stylus Photo R220 recently. Not too expensive, decent make, prints photos well, quite fast, fairly compact, and it prints directly onto CD's. I'm pretty happy with it.

EDIT: oh, and 6 ( I think 6 ) seperate ink cartridges so you can just replace the black if you do a lot of text printing.

Canon are best imo, probably the cheapest in terms of running cost and replacements, quality also superb. Second choice would be Epson, although cartridges most costly.

I'd steer clear of Lexmark and HP as they are uber expensive. Lexmark its cheaper to buy another printer than a full set of ink - ridiculous.

Just bought a 220, great printer, paid £49 for the printer and two complete sets of ink, and as Mr Billy says, £6 for all 5 colours and a black, you can't get cheaper than that. The inks are pretty good quality aswell.
