I think I'm going to be forced into not a terrible decision

I have a problem, as you may have read I'm buggering off for a minimum of 1 year and I'm selling all my cars/bikes etc, problem is a year a go I had a track Clio built for me which I was very pleased with, the problem is it cost a lot of money and this is leading to disparity on what I want and to be honest what it's probably worth.

I know that you're just throwing money down a pit when getting a car built from prior experience but didn't learn.

So I'm thinking keep the car, I happen to have around £820 in credit at Bubble and Kick racing, give the car to them get them to do a few jobs, the heater and right electric window are fooked so rip out the heating, electric windows, put in Perspex windows and ventilation, some decent doors cards, at the moment I've just got some cut out plastic in place.

I can then get my old man to take it to his farm and store it and it'll be something nice to get back to on my return.

I'm thinking of making it a track car only and trailering it, perhaps take part in MSV Trophy or something similar. I don't need the money and on my return if I need some dosh I can sell it then.

Whaddya reckon?

Keep it and store it at your Dads farm, it'd be a shame to throw away all that money you spent on it,
like you said it's something nice to come back to.

I think there is no need for this thread as you have the situation under control.

This.

I can't see the problem TBH.

Okay lets put it this way, if i keep hold of the car for another year will it be worth much less than it is now? I have the credit, so i can get the money back but to sell the car i either need to get the windows and heating sorted or take the route proposed. If i do decide to sell it should i get the problems fixed or not and make it more track orientated and finally which i perhaps should have gone into the 'what's it worth thread'... What is it worth?

The alternative is to keep it. I think this is the option that will happen but part of me thinks that money in the bank isn't a bad thing

Apologies i clearly approached this the wrong way..i watched far too much footie in the pub today
