I want...

  Listerine & Poledo
After watching Cannonball Run 2 and a bit of googlage afterwards, I must now find myself a Sterling Nova.

Check them out, they are, quite simply, brilliant.

Well, for a 70's designed kit-car, based on a VW Beetle.

Someone's been building themrecently, since there's some examples with RX-8 and Subaru STi engines in them, where you'd normally expect to find a small-block V8.

Rather this than another GT40 / Lancia replica.

I used to know a guy who had one.
They really don't look good in the flesh. It was orange though.

Really!

SOmeone outside of the US actually has one!

It looks like there are few different versions of the front end now, if you got a good one and not in an awful colour I'm sure it'd be alright,

Especially when you build it as part beetle, part 911 Carrera S, part fibreglass.

@Merk

Thanks, I knew I couldn't be the only one. I blame the canopy... and Cannonball Run 2

That looks s**t TBH

In fairness, around your neck of the woods (Cheshire) there are must nastier looking vehicles, typically made out of porsches and range rovers. ;)

ALthough, yes, I cannot deny, its an aquired taste, one which I cannot imagine 99% of those on this forum would have
