Will never flame on V power, asda fuel is the best, low quality so doesn't burn too well in the engine so you get more ending up in the exhaust.
Should flame without a decat with that fuel.

Pah , flames don't get you in trouble !!
I had years of it , though did make me worry at night as it would catch my attention , that and trying not to set grass verges alight !!

Any brand of fuel , you just need to be running big power on carbs  (turbo cars are way easier to do it on )

Straight through exhaust and a Bee*R.

Won't last very long but it'll pop and bang merrily for the 5 minutes it does work. Which should be long enough to piss plenty of people off.

  Whichever has fuel
Buy a lighter from the local corner shop and turn the flame up. Then hold it at arms length and light it every time you change Gear.

If you don't want to do that because it will look s**t and make you look like a moron, then bare that in mind when making a clio 1.4 "shoot flames" because that's what most of us are thinking.

Probably not bud. Why not concentrate on being a better driver instead? Take some lessons on fast road driving, head out into the hills, learn to corner, that kinda thing. A 1.4 is the perfect car to learn in, and will make you faster than any flame kit.

Peace.

Honestly, I loved hammering about in my 1.2 more than I did in the 172.

You think that's useful ?
You won't get flames unless you're dumping fuel into the exhaust with a closed throttle

A car with injection on a closed throttle won't do that unless you map it to do so hence the earlier advice

Now do you understand ?

You do also need the exhaust to be straight through , and it needs to be drawing in air somewhere

Combustion needs

Fuel , ignition source (hot exhaust will do) and oxygen

No need to map. The Bee*R just cuts the spark and the fuel that gets injected as per normal ends up in the exhaust for maximum keblammo.

Obviously it's not going to do the engine any good. Or the exhaust. Or the OP's image.

What's the point in that as you have to cut it with an open throttle and you will borewash the s**t out of it and the bottom end will last about 5 minutes

Hence the 5 minutes stated in my original post. It's obviously a silly idea.

spray bottle full of unleaded, spray it up the exhaust before you set out to micky d's, don't forget to cover yourself as well then when it all goes horribly wrong you wont be around to be embarrassed and guaranteed your fiery demise will make it onto youtube, double winner
