but how do you tune the radio on the 182 HU?

Ive tried the technique in the manual which is hold the button down until tuningmanual appears on the dsp, all i get is list and it scrolls thru the prset channels..

HELP!

Once it stops at a channel hold down the number which you want to store the channel on. Once down change it back to tuning auto or whatever it is, then you can just scroll through the presets.

the problem is that i cant get the radio to select channels other than the ones that are set in already i.e. radio1, radio2, radio3 etc etc..all i want is to tune my dodgy local station in!

Its been ages since I did mine and cant really remember what I did! To be honest its the same as most radios for setting up.

Have you not got the manual that came with it?

Try the bottom button on the remote radio stalk, I think it switches between tuner list / manual tuning and something else, then try the manual tuning procedure.

Yup..ive tried the button at the bottom of the stalk, it just refuses to go into manual tune!

Ive got the manual but its 450 miles away at the moment, ive had a nose at it and im following the instructions, this means either I am incredibly thick or my radio is a b*****d, nevermnd tho...il be sticking my Alpine HU in it in the near future anyway.
