iMac Help!!

Hello all,

All of a sudden on Adobe Programs like flash, illustrator, ps, dreamweaver and other large programs my mac has started running extremely slowly!... it has gone from being very fast and not struggling to nearly dying everytime i use the programs!!

What may have caused this? Is there anything I can do to fix it?

The spec is 24" iMac, 2.8ghz Core 2, 2gb 800mhz RAM and 500gb HD!!

Try repairing permssions...might help

The software was running fine up until a few days ago so I cant see it being that, iv not updated it or anything!! Tried to repair permisions but still no joy.

I installed a shed load of fonts at one time so maybe its that? a corrupt/bad font causing the glitches!?!

Ahh its all fixed!!

It was the font registry, was screwed. Dont correctly installed and corrupt, Fontbook found like 200 bad fonts LOL!

Running sweet again now.

Every demanding program going and not skipping a beat!
