Immobiliser Question

Dear All

Does anyone know if you can turn the immobiliser off a 172 and still run it okay.Is there any way of doing this at all,where the key fob still activates the central locking but has nothing to do with the immo...

You cant on the Valver but not sure about the 172!!!

Wouldnt have thought so tho!!!

your immob is a chip in the key...nothing to do with the central locking or alarm mate...
