Denison...? Link me please!!!

I really should keep up with advances in technology!

Hi, I have the Dension icelink and its a fantastic piece of kit, I know £130 seems a lot for a lead to connect your iPod to your H/U, but IMO its well worth it, I just leave my iPod in the glovebox out of sight and use the steering wheel controls to flick through thousands of songs. Its a million times better than an iTrip, no fiddling about to retune it, or poor quality reception, and it charges through the icelink as well, so you dont have to plug anything into your cigarette lighter. Just bite the bullet and get it, you wont regret it I promise.

Have you got the earlier ones or the new one just out?0 (icelink plus) as im really interested in the new one which should in theory show the id3 tags and ive searched but i cant find a picture of how it looks on the display

Im waiting til the new year.

Clarions units are out with full iPod integration. Alpines 2005 range will have improved the integration.

Its likely that Pioneer and others will also follow.

this is the only thing if i change my car ill have to get another.

the pioneer one is out soon and are cheaper for aftermarket ones than standard stereos

in the US they are going to be $159 which is about £80 and a better price than £130...

@rugbyfiend

I bought my icelink about 6 months ago and it doesnt display ID3 tags, would be nice, but doesnt really bother me.

@Clart

Yes mate, it just plugs into your changer port, nice and easy.

chad, some people say the itrip works well but where i am in derby its not at all, so depends where u are i suppose

my ipod only cost £160 so payin £130 for a lead is v annoying, it must cost 5 quid to make.

can you get them for sony? i have a cd changer does this mean i would have to get rid ? and also can u controll the i pod using the head unit and does it display the tags?

question questions:)

yeah the new denison kits do display tags, if u click the link at the top it shows u a demo

u cant have a changer as well but u wouldnt need one if u had an ipod plugged in.
