Increase in Viruses/Malware/Etc?

  Not a 320d
Is it me or is there a vast increase in malware and other annoying s**t at the moment.

The reliable p**n sites I used to visit are s**t now, popups containing a pdf file which opens itself, installs some variant of win home security 2011 on my pc, only to have AVG Free remove it immediately (Now its actually aware of it) and leave my PC fucked.

Nothing runs on startup, I have to right click and run as administrator and cant double cick programs as normal.

Its not just those either. Sites ive been on which are nothing bad atall, reliable and well known do the same, ive got one at the moment, where every link I click on on google, takes me to some "Be Cool Search Engine" and then promptly directs me to some random ass site, selling wallpeper backgrounds, or suppliments, or a site saying pay this and discover how this cartoon character lost 42lbs in fat from doing 45 mins a week working out etc. All bullshit.

f**k sake. Ive formatted about 3 times in the last 2 months because of all this s**t.

PRo tip; Stop being on sh*t p**n sites. Downloading super_hardcore_boobs_ass_sex_WOW.jpg.png.bmp.exe will probably contain some bad things, and I'm not saying that in a innuendo type of way.

Install;
Microsoft Security Essentials
MalwareBytes AntiMalware

Both are free, keep them updated. Find a new p**n website.

I do/Have and they work.

Doesnt stop things installing and doing the whole screw up my PC even though its not managed to install itself.

Its not even p**n sites, but the one I do go on ive used for years. Its just suddenly got s**t.

Note to self; Change p**n site.

I will never go back to a Windows system after using a Unix based one for the past year or so (Mac OS X & Linux). The only way you can get a virus on one of these is if your stupid.

TBH thats the case for every OS, albeit Windows is more susceptible due to Microsoft's great way of allowing code to execute and the market share their OS' holds.
