is this worth doing i remeber seeing a williams ages ago in fast car mag bored out to 2.1, then saw it in the flesh went like s**t off a shovel

For the cost involved, i would only reccomend it to somebody who can support the budget required and ONLY if the extra capacity is really required.

Its alot of work and money, and if its a near std engine then most people would not be happy with the bhp/£ ratio.

PM or email me, i'll be happy to provide details for you.

changing the CC of your car is practically the only mod insurers dont like. obviously engine swaps are up there.. could be wrong green light may allow this.

what power hikes are we talking for a 2.2 bottom end ? price.

i dont know what the gains in terms of BHP and tprque are or any differing charachteristics tbh. Best to chat to ben about it. Im not sure if it uses a different crank/stroke/piston size or how he gains the extra CC. But tbh the std crank and flywheel are badly balanced they are worth changing/modding even if only to improve how smooth the engine is before upping power or RPM through mods.
