indicator flashing faster

I went out to the ca the other day to move it so i could get the van out i knocked the left indicator on and it was flashing really fast compared to the roght indcator? what could this be?

A bulb has blown on the left side of the car most probably

Yep, tells you a bulb has gone somewhere

Stick your hazards on and you will find a bulb has gone on the left side....if it's the rear, take the light cover off and give it a wiggle/clean before you buy new bulbs as sometimes it's just a loose connection
